Practice area ยท RPA and process automation

Automation that starts with the process, not the bot

We find the work worth automating, build reliable bots on the platform that suits you, and keep them running. When rules stop being enough, we extend the same processes with AI agents.

What we deliver

Three tiers of automation delivery

You can engage us for one tier or all three. Most programmes move through them in order.

TIER 01

Process discovery

Before any bot is built, we establish which processes are worth automating and what they really look like in practice.

  • Process mining and task mining on system logs
  • Stakeholder workshops and as-is process maps
  • Automation-potential scoring and business cases
  • A prioritised automation pipeline

TIER 02

Bot implementation

We design, build and test attended and unattended bots to production standards, with exception handling from day one.

  • Solution design and development standards
  • Attended and unattended automation
  • Intelligent document processing for semi-structured inputs
  • Testing, deployment and hypercare

TIER 03

Maintenance and auditing

Bots break when the systems around them change. We monitor, maintain and audit your automation estate so it keeps paying back.

  • Monitoring, incident response and fixes
  • Change management when upstream systems update
  • Periodic audits of controls, credentials and access
  • Estate reviews and retirement of low-value bots

Platforms

Your platform, or the right one

We work on the leading commercial platforms and on open-source orchestration. If you already have licences, we build on them. If not, we recommend on fit and total cost, not on partnership.

Beyond rules

From bots to agents

Rules-based RPA handles structured, predictable work. Where a process needs judgement, such as reading an unusual email, interpreting a document or choosing the next step, we add LLM-powered agents to the same workflow, with a person approving the decisions that matter.

One workflow, three layers

  • Bots for the deterministic steps
  • AI for reading, classifying and drafting
  • People for exceptions and approvals

Evidence

Results, with the names left out

Our clients are protected by strict non-disclosure agreements, so we never name them. Each result is described by sector and scale only, and measured against the baseline agreed at the start.

[CLIENT-SUPPLIED] Sector and size, e.g. mid-sized EU insurer

[CLIENT-SUPPLIED] What was built, in general terms

[CLIENT-SUPPLIED] The starting problem and what changed, in two sentences, with no names, places or details that could identify the client.

How we engage

Discovery, pilot, scale

1Weeks

Discovery

Process discovery on your highest-volume candidates, with a business case for each one.

You receive

  • An as-is process map and mining analysis
  • An automation pipeline ranked by value
  • A platform recommendation
2Weeks

Pilot

We automate one or two processes end to end in production, with full exception handling.

You receive

  • Bots running in production
  • Measured throughput and exception rates
  • Development standards for what follows
3Ongoing

Scale

We work through the pipeline and set up the operating model to run automation at scale.

You receive

  • A growing, monitored bot estate
  • Maintenance and audit under Tier 03
  • Centre of excellence set-up, if you want one

Where does your team lose the most time?

Tell us about the repetitive work. We will tell you what can be automated, on which platform, and what it is worth.
